Marketing Specialist

Since 2012, Easy Pay Direct has helped entrepreneurs and growing businesses sell online. We started in payment processing. Today we build technology that helps merchants approve more transactions, run their operations more efficiently, and grow.

Our Payment Orchestration Platform is live today. Merchants use it to maximize payment acceptance and improve payment performance. It’s the foundation of our business, and we’re continuing to invest in it.

EPD Commerce is our new AI-powered commerce platform, built from the ground up. It brings products, payments, subscriptions, and revenue recovery into one connected system, and it’s backed by more than a decade of experience in payment processing.

Commerce is entering its next era. Soon, AI agents will discover, compare, and buy products on behalf of customers. While most of the industry is still reacting to that shift, we’re already building the infrastructure for it. EPD Commerce is designed for where commerce will be in the next 12 to 24 months.

About the Role

Easy Pay Direct is looking for a Marketing Specialist to own marketing execution across social, email, content, and creative for both Easy Pay Direct and EPD Commerce.

This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who likes to execute across many channels and tools. With EPD Commerce launching in November, you’ll help ship the assets, landing pages, and social content that introduce our new platform to the market.

We’re a nimble team that moves fast. Decisions are made on Monday, and work ships quickly. In-person collaboration matters to us, so this role is based in our East Austin office.

We’re AI-forward across the company. Our newsletter is AI-drafted and editorially reviewed before it ships, and we’re looking for someone who already uses AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT every day to work faster and produce better results.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you’ll:

• Help deliver EPD Commerce launch assets, landing pages, and social content on schedule.
• Build a consistent, on-brand Instagram presence for both Easy Pay Direct and EPD Commerce.
• Keep the newsletter shipping reliably and on schedule.
• Run the Beyond a Million awards program smoothly from start to finish.
• Build a growing library of client testimonials, reviews, and case studies.
• Create a smooth onboarding experience for affiliate and referral partners.
• Become a trusted partner to the Director of Marketing, sales, and company leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Run the Beyond a Million awards program, which recognizes clients when they cross $1M in processed revenue. This includes coordinating award shipments, collecting testimonials from winners, posting to social, and featuring winners in the newsletter.
• Support marketing execution for the EPD Commerce launch in November, including platform assets, landing pages, and social content.
• Manage both Instagram accounts, Easy Pay Direct and EPD Commerce, day to day.
• Review, edit, and ship our AI-drafted newsletter.
• Make quick website updates in our vibe-coding style builder.
• Support ad creative for our paid campaigns.
• Collect client testimonials and reviews, and turn them into case studies and content.
• Onboard affiliate and referral partners.
• Manage the details and moving parts behind marketing projects, not just the creative side.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in digital or direct response marketing.
• Strong copywriting skills across newsletters, ad copy, social captions, and landing pages.
• Experience running social media for a real brand, not just a personal account.
• Hands-on experience with HubSpot, or a similar CRM and the ability to ramp up quickly.
• Experience with email marketing platforms and automation workflows.
• Proficiency in funnel building.
• Daily use of AI tools, such as Claude or ChatGPT, as part of your workflow.
• A proven history of successful marketing projects.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Tech-savvy, with experience using CRMs and related marketing systems.

Strongly Preferred

• Experience in payments, fintech, or ecommerce.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• A design eye. If you can produce clean Instagram posts and email graphics, tell us.
• Experience with WordPress.
• Experience with awards programs, customer recognition, or community marketing.
